Eamon Regan was born in Dublin in 1956. He studied Art and Architecture at the Kunstakademy Art School in Copenhagen Denmark and at the School of architecture , UCD in Dublin .
Eamon from an early age has been involved with painting. As a child he was frequent winner of the annual Texaco and Glen Abbey National Childrens Art competition.
He studied at the National College of Art and Design and was awarded the Certificate in visual arts practice in 2012.
Eamon is a figurative painter and his work is centered on the Irish landscape both vernacular and modern. He also is interested in contemporary still life, the work of Charles Brady and Morandi being greatly influential to him.
As an architect he is particularly interested in the subject of Urban form in his Painting. He is also interested in the expressive use of colour and gesture in Art.
